Line Out Converter With The Factory Sub Wires

i have a 95 ls 400 and i want to put in a new amp and subs but i dont know how to wire up the line out converter. do i just wire it to the sub woofer + and - wires coming out of the stock amplifier? and then run those to the new amp?

I added mine to the stock sub wiring and added the amp to the trunk.

so wire up the line out converter at the end of the sub wiring in the trunk and then connect the new amp?

That is it , some amps like my jl 500/1 have a line input built in so i only added an rca to the end and it works fine.
