martialartsguy Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 can you use a irdium spark plug on a gs 300? the stock ones are platium but what if i go with a denzo irdium plug? will this mess up my engine? or just make it betrter
dcfish Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 you won't notice a difference except the change interval-60,000 for platinum and 100,000 for the iridium cost effective the platinum works out better and is the proper plug for the car. :D :D :D
philip frank Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 this post indicates that the platinum plugs are the proper plug for the gs3. mine is a '98. i had planned to use the ngk iridium. they seem to be hard to find. does anyone have a part number? should i go iridium ngk or platinum?
TurboGS300 Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I like the iridiums better, they will last longer! Also they are harder so less wear, better conductivity! Which means set'em and forget'em. The iridiums are only about $2 more so they are a much better deal. They may be the last plugs you buy. Here ya go. Plugs
philip frank Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 should i go with the IX or the regular ngk iridium?
philip frank Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 i went ahead and ordered the standard irdium ngk's the chart you attached above is for a '93. i have a '98. are those plugs what you recommend for the '98?
