'07 model:

MSRP : $52,216

ML, Nav, few others

Paid : $43,850 excl. TTL

Comments?

Now I understand why trade in values on these cars is no better than a Cadillac or Lincoln after one or two years. Other manufacturer dealers are aware that Lexus dealers do discount new vehicles - they have to be. The resale/trade-in values of our cars is nowhere near what the KBB, NADA, etc list them at. Trust me I know from experiences this past summer. Best I can tell, these four door sedans will be worth more at four and five years of age than other sedans of the same age.

ok, looks like I got a decent deal, only it's claimed to be a mistake by the dealer/sales.

but work it harder, I believe invoice flat is not impossible. the sales guy in Putnam quoted me on ES model $300 over invoice before negotiating.

You're the lucky one as it won't happen all the time.

Yup, acknowledged that after the call to the sales.

The best now is $300 below with deal before end of Jan.

After X'mas hype, Jan. possibly is a slow month.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks G Man, the car was hard to find, but I needed ML, Audio is my life. Fortunately the dealer was nice and is getting one shipped in for me. Now all I need is to get it bypassed so I can have DVD's play while I drive.
