Valvoline Max For Transmision

Hi,

The 99 ES300 owner manual recomend "Dexron III" lead me to fill Valvoline Max in to my trasmision.

After everything done, I saw the dipstick say "TOYOTA TYPE IV."

- Should I stay with the Valvoline?

- Drain and Fill with Toyota T IV to minimize the Valvoline? If I do it, will it do something wrong to the trasmision? I have this question since some body say that replace all the fluid at the same time may clean the old stuff from the trany and produce clog.

- Do you know why the Owner manual say "Dexron III" when the dipstick say "Toyota T IV?"

I will search the forum, but since I scare of driving my car now, a quick advice is very apreciate.
