djspawn00 Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 I have some FIPG, does anyone have any opinions on whether its a good idea to use it on my Mazda when I change the valve cover gasket? 92Lex Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 Use a regular valve cover gasket. Why would you want to substitute an OEM rubber gasket with FIPG? You can try it if you want but the seating surface on that valve cover gasket isn't like the one on your oil/tranny pan. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
