Frank Sinclair Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I have a 2003 ES300 with those space-age looking headlights, which I have had since December, 2006, after looking to downsize from my previous 2000 BMW 740i, and have really enjoyed driving this car. I've noticed that the inside of the housings appears to have a light hazyish "coating" on the inside of the the housings, at the front. Is there a place online that describes how to remove the housings? And, what would be the best product to use to rub out the hazy coatings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My 2002 ES started to do the same thing right along the edge where the headlight meets the hood. It was easily buffed out by my detailer. However, 5 months later, it is starting to come back. Try some Meguiars PlastX which is a very fine polish for clear plastics. I use it on my headlight housings every 6 months or so. Does wonders to remove the hazy appearance.
