puma Posted February 25, 2007 Share Posted February 25, 2007 Does anyone know of what might be causing this issue - I have a 95 sc300 with 157k miles. The problem started yesterday when we experience a sand/dust storm in Dallas, TX blown in from west Texas. When I push on the gas pedal, it hesitates a bit and then moves on. When you put in reverse, I get rough idle while moving back. I changed the air filter as it was dirty but don't know if it's the cat, spark plugs, injector, fuel filter or what. Tom Andrews Posted October 24, 2023 Share Posted October 24, 2023 Curious whether you ever got an answer to what caused the hesitation issue you described with your SC 300.. I have a 93 SC 300 in very good condition, 180000 miles. It seems to consume oil over time; about 1 qt over a 2000 mi period. And it has started hesitating a bit when accelerating; not all the time but about 1 every 5-6 times. Any ideas?
