Does anyone know of what might be causing this issue - I have a 95 sc300 with 157k miles. The problem started yesterday when we experience a sand/dust storm in Dallas, TX blown in from west Texas. When I push on the gas pedal, it hesitates a bit and then moves on. When you put in reverse, I get rough idle while moving back. I changed the air filter as it was dirty but don't know if it's the cat, spark plugs, injector, fuel filter or what. This was not happening in the morning and only after the storm got worse

will this fit my SC300?

My rack & pinion is leaking per two different mechanics. I would like to know where I can get this part outside of Lexus. I have seen several on the net for about $200 to $300 and I've been told by a mechanic that the rack & pinion part by A1 Cardone is a piece of crap and not to get it. The one to get is by Marvel (or something like that) as they make this part for Toyota. Any help you may have on this would be great. I am also looking for a mechanic that works on Lexus and knows what he's doing at a reasonable price and not dealer prices since i can get most parts online cheaper. Is this even worth fixing for a 95' year model car with $154k miles on it?

I recently noticed my anti-freez was low so I added more and today, I notice the hose leading into the thermostat is kind of bloaded and not soft to the touch. Does this mean i have a bad thermostat? Any help please.

they are poly, but did not do the job myself. I've been told that I need to put some sylicone.

Hello, just wanted some advise here. About two months ago, I replaced my lower control arm front with bushing kits as it was cheaper overall, however, the noise and squeeks I get is unbarable. Any advise to fix the problem will greatly be appreciated.
