alfred213
Hi all. I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers on how to move the center console where the cup holders are on my 2002 rx300. I have loose object somewhere in there and it just annoys me as it moves from one side to the other. I"ve emptied out all the compartments and I think i'm at the point where i need to remove the console. Any help any of you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you. fernandolpa
I'll try to explain you how. English is not my first language, sorry for the possible mistakes. Its really easy. This is how you have to do to take out the central console. Open the console and strip off the top, where the cup holders are. Start from the front side. On the floor of the console, at the front and sides, you have to screw taps, remove it and take out the screws. Also, n the floor you find a cover, open it and remove the screws. Going back to the back of the console, once you have removed the cup holders top, you will see two screws. Remove them. The console is now free. Be carfeful with the lighter connector, disconnect to release completely the console. Do the same with other lights connections. In order to take it our completely, you have to move the seats to the front. To reallocate the console, proceed on the inverse. If you have problems with my explanation, tell me and I'll post the official guide from the repair manual. Hi all. rabbit40
Hi, I'm having the same problem except I can't seem to get the drawer to close because something seems to be stuck behind the drawer. I'm not ver good at instructions so any visuals you may have would be great. I know this because I tried to follow your directions. Help!!! Its driving me crazy that I can't close the drawer.
