juno_reaction Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I'm looking to buy an IS 300. I currently own a 92 ES, but I want a newer Lex that , of course, appeals to me. The IS is the model. Since I dont know much about them, I was hoping someone could inform me of any major issues, if any, and their reliability. I just need to know what to look out for and whatnot.
stcmharb Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 cd player is no good, and it does have a noticable blindspot... other then that (i have an 02) the leather is extremly comfortable, the speakers are not too shabby and the power, with ect and traction off, is very nice
juno_reaction Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 Besides comfort issues, are there any notorious mechanical problems?
Zorprime Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Besides comfort issues, are there any notorious mechanical problems? There are very little to none..I have an 01 IS300 with 152,00 miles..still smooth as silk and even more powerful once I past 50,000 miles. Only thing I replaced was an O2 sensor in 6 years..and a whole lot of tires :P
bartkat Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 As long as you get an IS that's been well maintained, there shouldn't be any unusual problems.
