What Is The Factory % Tint On A 1999 Lexus Sc 300?

I have a 1999 Lexus SC300 and I want to get my state legal 35% tint installed. However, does the factory tint already have some level of % tint? Can someone help me please?

i dont think there is stock tint. you can ask your installer as he should know.

Nearly all factory windows are tinted less the windshield. Frankly, I have had numerous cars tinted in my day and the factory tint matters very little. As the prior poster mentioned the installer can best field that question.

Thanks. What I was trying to figure out is if I ask the tint shop to put 35% film on the windows, would it end up being 28% or more if there was factory tint? Right now it looks pretty clear but I don't know if I can detect less than 10% factory tint or not.
