NoMorePinkPanther Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I seem to have a real issue with seeing the nav screen when the sun is shining on it. The reflection makes the screen almost impossible to see. Has anyone done anything about this? I would like to get my windows tinited, but am very nervous about the outcome and legalites of it in massachusetts. Thanks for helping Joe
bartkat Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Looks like Mass allows 35% tint. http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/MA/

The non metallic tint came in 45% & 35% and since the windows are 5%.. the 35% would have made them illegal.. the guy side he would do it.. but its my ticket and loss of tint if cops wanted to be jerks... I love mine... it makes it night and day inside and out... DO IT! But make sure its non metallic!
NoMorePinkPanther Posted January 7, 2007 Author Posted January 7, 2007 so, isn't 40% illegal? Do you know a good place to get it done south of boston? Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply No 40% is legal.. anything under 35% is illegal.. I got mine done in Springfield... Just call around.. look for a place thats been in biz for awhile... Your love it...
SW03ES Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Remember that the smaller the % the darker the tint. 35% is darker than 40%.
