WindyCitySC Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Now I know why everyone loves their SC! WOW! I just bought a black 93 SC400, and when it warms up, the belt makes a squeeking noise. I just put in a new tensioner to solve the problem, and it was good for about a 2 days. Unfortunately, it came back again. Any trouble shooting suggestions? I'll have picture up for you guys soon! Thanks in advance!!!

lexus082 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I had something similiar but it was my serpentine belt tensioner assy. That fixed mine, it was hard to figure out at first where it was coming from though. Good Luck.
WindyCitySC Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 First I thought it was the tensioner, but it wasn't. It was the alternator pulley (had some silicon on it, so it was slipping). I cleaned it up and it's fixed now, easy fix. Thanks everyone!
