option00002
I thought I would share this as I am so happy with the results. Using a dremel in five minutes I buzzed off a few pieces of plastic on a set of 'Silverstar' high beams and placed them in the low beam slot. Excellent mod and easy to perform B) . Now it will be interesting to see how long the bulbs last. Probably well known but I thought I would throw it out there. Between this and wet sanding/buffing the exterior of the lenses I can see again at night . I read of this on: http://www.intellexual.net/faq.html

miraluna
I had HIR 9005 put in as for 9006 and it is bright as hell... best thing there is... purchase them thru ebay... you have to get them...
option00002
I looked on Ebay (quickly) and did not see HIR bulbs. What are they? I usually stick to Silverstars as I melted a wiring harness on my Volvo with no-name aftermarkets.
SKperformance
I have HIR bulbs and they are nicer but they are no HID system. I have pictures in the LS section with my fogs with one silverstar and one hir
