webbie Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 With the cold weather here I'm wondering what the best decision is for warming the the vehicle so it will shift into top gear on the highway as soon as possible... I'm just looking for a way out of running through the snow back and forth from my house just to wait for the car to warm up. And do you have any suggestions and what brand/model works best hahaha this smilely face looks like me in the cold winter morning
wwest Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 There is a temperatrue sensing thermister inside the transaxle so you may have warm the engine AND transaxle....
SKperformance Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 The car starter is much better at warming the engine than the block heater which is mainly for extremes.
