Terry Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 Hello, I just purchased a 1999 RX300. I love it!! Does anyone know how you can disconnect the seat belt warning light? Thanks!
LadyLexRX Posted October 23, 2002 Posted October 23, 2002 Unfortunately I don't know how to disconnect it, but if you or anyone finds out....PLEASE let me know!!! It annoys the **** out of me!!!
JonsRX300 Posted December 6, 2002 Posted December 6, 2002 Something to look for.... I have a 2001, and if you put your hand on the passengers seat, the passenger seat belt light flashes on the dash, what I am trying to say is that there is a switch built into the bottom of the seat, and if disconnected from the bottom of the seat, the switch would not say there is anyone sitting in it. I have not actually looked, but it makes sense.
zeta Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 there's most likely a way to disconnect that sensor wire. i'm not sure where it is, but it most likely runs right under the carpeting straight under the seat. but the stock sub is under the passenger seat, so it'll be hard to get to it, unless you find the other end in the engine bay, which would be easier.
