Impala1ss Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 New to the board. I just sold my '98 Corvette and am looking for a luxury car to replace it. I was all set to get a new SC430 but once I found I couldn't get my golf clubs in the trunk with the top down, I decided against it. This is the only Lexus I had considered but after learning about the quality of the Lexus, I would like to get one. But I don't know which would satisfy me. Here's the list of my wants/needs: - great "boulevard" ride (like the Cadillac big cars; -speed not so important. I already did that with the Vette but able to run 90 mph all day; - trunk big enough for golf clubs; - no more than $60,000 price; -convertible; - great value for the price; - holds resale value. I'm also considering MB's, BMW's, and Cadillacs Any suggestions?
Lexdiamonds Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I think the only Convertible that Lexus makes is the SC430. I would say if you want speed and luxery, than go with the GS430, but minus the Convertible because they don't make it like that. Or Get the Convertible BMW M3 and its about 55 thousand. Just an idea
SW03ES Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 You mentioned the boulevard ride? Well the best riding Lexus is the LS430 sedan...
MrSypher Posted January 20, 2004 Posted January 20, 2004 Welcome to the board.. Have you went to Lexus and checked out their lineup?? I'd say go with a Gs430 there's space/room and boy does it look nice and classy...
