nester
GS430, '01, 140K km - have constant problem with the steering wheel vibration around 100 km/h. Have tried 3 sets of rims (original alloy, 2 steel including toyota's hub-centric), 4 sets of tires, had them balanced many times (including road-force machine) - sometimes worse, sometimes better, but still some vibration. Winter 16" - worse then summer 17". Also depends on weather - sometimes no vibration at all, depends on tire temperature - usually hot are better, but sometimes vise versa. Also seems there are small problems with stability on the speed - need to slightly steer to keep the car stable. Worse when the tires are at 35 psi and of course at the strong wind. (At 32 psi - much less..) Can this be related? Also, does anybody know really good wheel alignment shop in Toronto area?

yoon82
I have 2002 gs430 and have same problem, some say worn control arm busing can cause these.
