Just wanted an idea of cost so i can start putting money together for it now. Thanks

I think he screwed me a bit by charging $200 for parts/labor but i couldnt wait any longer. all I needed was to get stranded...especially since I had to turn the key 7-8 times coming out of a bar at 3am the previous night thx fish

PITA, Missed a day of work, But better than replacing the starter.Happy to hear that it was a simple fix.
anthonyiez Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 out the door a bosch reman starter install would cost about $300 at my shop with a 2 year warranty. and he charged $200 to replace the contacts in yours?
