I called the local Lexas dealer and they will not replace the key as a courtesy (read this in several forums). Instead I need to order a $300 replacement. THERE MUST BE A WAY TO REPLACE THE SHELL?? It is not feasible to replace the entire key set and ECU-- I scanned ebay for shell replacements and found nothing. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check out www.lexus-parts.com they have better deals on keys, and they sell shells for the 98+ all in on key, maybe they do for yours too. No that was never my expectation - I read this in several forums on this site - FYI: I already check lexus-parts.com site before. The remote keys are $347 only sold in pairs.
