How do I fix the four holes in the front bumper used to mount the front license plate?

I bought a used GS430 with personalized license place. I return the license plate to the previous owner but decide not to install the front license plate (the car looks better without it).

I took some round headed plastic fasteners of the proper size, painted them with touch up paint and shoved them in the holes.

That works , also using one of the chrome plates sold just for that purpose with the Lexus script on them.
