Mexan02 Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 I have a 1991 Ls400 Auto, a few weeks ago i changed the alternator thanks to some forums and tutorials, well it was running great and everything seemed good. I was running it a few nights ago and all of a sudden it just lost power. I pulled over and i could hear something odd, i looked under the car and the whole middle was shinning and was hot. i managed to get home, i checked the engine and noticed it had taken almost all of the engine coolant, i filled it up and started it, i would accelerate while in park and at 900 rmps it begins to rumble, and i've tried taking it around the block to see what else it would do and while in drive it goes off on a very slow start and goes, but while reaching 3000 rmps it changes gear rapidly and you can feel the change hard....i'm completely lost, i've looked through out different forums and cants find an answer, can anyone please help??
