over40driver Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 My 95 sc400 is in ex. cond. and I was leary to cut up the airbox, but I also felt the car needed a boost in power, so after studing all the articles out there I finally made the modification. I had to order the 2mm polypropylene sheeting from a speacialty supply co. for $15.00. I think the guy from club soarer was the best and simplest and used a cardboard pattern took about an hour. Next up I got a quote from the local best exhaust shop on a magnaflow 2into1 cat. conv. with both XL magnaflow mufflers inst. for $520.00, he suggested retaining the fact. resonators to keep the noise down and shouldnt affect flow. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
