94lex83457 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I've decided on upgrading to the 17" lexus GS430 wheels (2001-2002) which are the one sc_toy has. If you want a picture look at sc_toy's avatar. My question is if the supra TT brakes will fit in the GS wheels?
dcfish Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 sorry but no. maybe with a spacer. I beleive you need 18" or better.
94lex83457 Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 the supra rims are 17" hmm...if those rims are not big enough how big of a spacer do i need to run? Also, why do the Supra rims allow for the calipers, but not the GS's? Also, could someone clarify what disk fitment is?
jzz30 Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 well the thing is the GS rim's spoke will hit the brake caliper becasue it is now alot thicker. so if you can find a spacer that will space out the rim enough so that the rims dont hit the caliper or stick out the fender then you got it!
whitesnake SC400 Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I reckon SC400 with original OZ wheel would look better if I'd use spacers. I was going to find ones but the question how thick could be spacers as bolts on which wheel sits doesn't seem very long to accomodate more than 30mm spacers. Any suggestions?
