I’m trying to find out who the original manufacturer was for the timing belt in a 1992 sc400. Does anyone know by chance

I am me here and just came into possession of a 1992 SC 400 with 13,000 original miles. The vehicle has been garage kept but runs a bit rough. I spoke with my mechanic about the situation and was told to replace the timing belt before I do anything. He states that due to the age alone it’s very likely to break. I have been told by others to leave well enough alone. Please, someone with more knowledge than me help. Is this something I need to worry about?
