2 Plugs On Top Of Ashtray

Just curious....

There are 3 electrical plugs associated with ashtray.

The plug in the far back is for the lighter but I dont know what the other 2 two plugs are that sit on top of the ashtray in a 1992 LS400 ( ashtray unit removed ).

I am too lazy to research it in my repair manual....

Does anyone know & can shoot off a quick answer ????

They're probably traction and seat heater plugs. Do you have the traction box in your engine bay?

My 1992 LS400 does not have traction control nor heated seats

What do the plugs look like? Pics? Any aftermarket equipment? My '95 has some extra wiring behind the ashtray as well. I think that they may be prewired for heated seats; their is some speculation of this on the "other Lexus forum" as well, but they don't have any definitive answers.

Do they resemble these plugs at all?

Yes those are the plugs but I dont have traction control nor heated seats...

So maybe it was prewiring........

The lighter has wiring to power it as well as another set for the illumination for the cigar lighter.
