Car Wont Start.... Any Ideas

Last week we bought a new battery, car started great ran great.

This morning I come out and the car wont start...

The gearshift will not come out of park... when I jump it off, the car starts, but when I take the jump box off it idles down and dies...

is this the battery or some other problem I need to check?

Check the charging system and parasitic draw of the electrical system.

CHeck your alternator main fuse.

You may have incorrectly hooked up the battery at some point and broke the main fuse.

It is right behind the battery just flip the cover and read.

Ended up being the Battery Cable... replaced and running fine!
