over40driver
I changed the oil for the first time and I thought I could reach down and unscrew the oil filter without unscrewing the 20 or so screws that hold the under-engine plastic splashpan, and that the filter would be drained because the car had set for 24 hours, when I unscewed the filter it dumped oil onto the plastic splashpan, so I should have taken the time to remove it first, also the oil plug is a 14 mm. j_lee84sc
you can squeeze a half of plastic milk jug down there to place underneath the filter, but yeah it will more than likely spill when you are changing the filter....keep that rag handy!!!!
