deanlebaron
I am on my third set of runflat tires at 30k mi. Average wear seems 10-12k miles...can that be improved by brand selection or anything else?
SW03ES
That sounds pretty typical for runflats...

Richen
What are the symptoms caused you have to change the tires so quickly?
deanlebaron
whoa, i didnt know run flats lasted for such a short time...i was planning to get them on my next car but never mind that idea Usual indications of tread wear on the run-flats. Did rotation at 5k intervals. Might be driving habits but doubt it since that has not been an issue with previous vehicles. Suggestion from replies is that 10k-15k is in line with experience of others....thanks
SW03ES
I would get ordinary tires. Many members have done it and have had nothing but great things to say about the increase in ride comfort, handling, and treadwear. That car is always going to go through tires pretty quick though.
