BlackIS Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I recently purchased a '02 IS300. I just noticed that I do not have a spare or temporary spare (Donut) tire. What will fit in the spare space? Where can I get a temporary spare (donut) tire? Did a new '02 IS come w/ a spare or donut. I have searched this forum ands was unable to come up with guidance.

Get yourself a oem size tire or the same size tire that you currently use. The spare should be in the mfg. recommended tire rotation specs. Always rotate the spare when rewcommended per owners manual.
bartkat Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Right. A full size spare tire is standard on the 02. Probably can find a tire and wheel or at least a wheel on Ebay.

I'm a litle afraid to admit this but I figure you all could use a laugh. I thought the spare was stored in the plastic well where the tools are located. I just pulled up the plastic and found a nice spare tire under the plastic well. Now I understand. Thanks for helping me out.
