teemunz Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Toyota to recall 57,000 Lexus cars globally TOKYO (Dow Jones/AP) _ Toyota Motor Corp. said -- TOKYO (Dow Jones/AP) -- Toyota Motor Corp. said Wednesday that it will recall about 57,000 vehicles from its upscale Lexus brand globally, due to faulty parts in the device that winds seat belts. The recall affects the Lexus GS and IS models sold in North America, Japan, Europe and other markets. Passengers may not be able to buckle up due to the faulty parts. Those vehicles were produced between July and December last year. It would take a few pulls to get them loose that weird it did happen to me after 3 weeks after bought IS350 and it was stuck for couple of days and my wife had fix it and it never happen again. we bought ours IS last Nov.
