OK, bought the Verizon Razr for the bluetooth feature, and used an old AT&T phone to upload the address book (thanks for the advice!! It worked great). The problem is that there are times I want to talk privately on the phone without the whole car listening. How do I selectively place a call or answer a call just using the handset without the whole car (kids, dog, etc) listening in??

I would guess by using a bluetooth earpeice like the hs-850 that the razr came with.

Press the button and it should override the car and connect to it.

not so easy you would have to go back and have the bluetooth disconnect from the car and back to the earpiece. The car is set up top prevent you from using the phone once the bluetooth connection is made.

What Verizon Razr model do you have? I am going to trade mine in and want to make sure I get one that is compatible.
