  1. From what I understand, you can download your own music (from cds) onto the Chocolate, using the music essentials kit. Am I mistaken??
  2. Has anyone used or heard anything good or bad about the new chocolate phone from Verizon??
  3. What Verizon Razr model do you have? I am going to trade mine in and want to make sure I get one that is compatible. THanks
  4. Has anyone gotten a bluetooth phone recently from Verizon?? I am up for a renewal of contract and want to purchase a new phone, preferably a razr type. Any suggestions?
  5. Where did you get the sirius lexus OEM system? Is the Starmate Replay part of this? Sorry if these are stupid questions:)
  6. Has anyone installed or figured out a good place to put a sirius sportster system in the GX? I like the idea of being able to take it from car to car (my husband has one) but dont know where to put it in the car or how to put it in so it doesnt look chincy. Also cant figure out how the antanna would work?
  7. SO, Lexus installed this? Just curious what that cost you and I wonder if an car stereo installation place could do it cheaper. Also, someone mentioned somewhere else on the site that they used the toyota LC sirius kit. I wonder if they are the same? [ quote name=JohnAMG' date='Dec 30 2005, 10:47 PM' post='172270] This is what the NAV SAT screen looks like after installation. I used the ES330 fit kit and Sirius module. I didn't use the windshield mount antenna that came with the kit. I use the Sirius aftermarket antenna for the roof mount. John
  8. Who installs this kit? Buy the ES330 SIRIUS Reciever and ES330 Sirius Fit Kit (check them out on lexus-parts.com under ES330) they install into the factory harness and are controlled from the Nav SYstem after pressing the AM button twice (like in LX). Its a simple installation.
  9. In response to the person who got a free sirius with their gx 470, where did you buy your car? and was this deal specific to your dealer? I asked mine about it (I bought mine about a month ago) and they new nothing about it.
  10. I know, verizons a little behind, but I havent heard good things about cingular as far as service. I keep saying I will switch, but I dont want to go from a carrier where I have service almost ALL of the time to one where I cant get service at all.
  11. Now I just have to wait for the RAZR phone to go down in price:) Thanks
  12. So that means there is NO way to transfer the phone book, not even one # at a time? Any way around this???
  13. The people at LetsTalk.com say that it not compatible. Who knows. I guess I will probably go with a verizon phone that someone actually has used with the GX. At least I know that will definitely work. Any other input is greatly appreciated. It was just released. Enter your ZIP code on the Radio Shack website to see if it is in your area yet. It is the only Verizon phone to have all of the Bluetooth profiles on it that are required for phonebook transfer. Also the phone forums are posting that file transfer actually works on this phone. Here is the Verizon owners manual, which shows the Object Push and Generic Object Exchange profiles beginning on page 94: http://nds2.nokia.com/files/support/nam/ph...6256i_US_en.PDF ←
  14. Do you actually have this phone and has the phone book transferred to your Lexus?? Most bluetooth phones have the phone book transfer but that doesnt mean its compatible and will transfer to the gx470. If you do have this phone, I am curious how the phone book transfer works? Thanks The new Nokia 6256i for Verizon has the file transfer capabilities you need for phone book transfer. It is only available at electronics retailers like Best Buy and Radio Shack. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=515 ←
  15. Do you just dial the # on the keypad on the car (Is there one??) and then just talk hands free?? Does the car have to be in park to dial a #? Jen I also have Verizon wuith a Motorola E815. I really don't care if the car has my address book. I get in the car, the system recognizes my phone and I can make hands free calls. Why do you need the phone book in the car? I did install a phone "cup" (for power) and an extra antenna. ←
