SherrieM Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 I think I might be experiencing an electrical problem with my IS300. It seems like something has melted the plastic on my steering column? Anyone heard of this? HELP!! I am very confused.

SKperformance Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 first i moved this to the IS 300 section and second is wow what the hell did that it looks like chubaka from star wars took a swipe at it it is not from the inside of the colum it is on the outside do you have anything like a crystal dangling from your rearview it may be a refraction of light magnified causing enough heat to melt it

SKperformance Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 hey if you concentrate light enough it can do lots don't remember the magnifying glass and ants thing as a kid the lines must be from the angle of the suns movement that day striking the sheild as it would need to be in close proxcimity to the colum
