JSmith Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I bought a RX300 with 26000 miles in July from Bonn Imports (Alpharetta, GA). He specializes in resale Lexus, and this was my first. Had a few glitches with the vehicle which he had fixed. Rare to find a car dealer (especially with resales) who lives what he professes. Can't say enough about the integrity and way I was treated by this dealer. Have enjoyed my RX tremendously.
RX in NC Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Glad you're happy with your results. Judging from your subject line, you experienced a sludged or gelled engine in your RX. What approach was taken to resolve this problem? Was the engine simply cleaned or was it replaced?

RX in NC Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Read the title of his post. I would interpret that to mean the engine was sludged and had to be dealt with. Hopefully he'll respond and clarify.
