is a phillips 6000k kit brighter or more powerful than say a stock Nissan's lights or any other stock HID light? What's the brightest kit out there? i know that 4100k is the brightest, but i'm hearing that the phillips is more powerful

Output will depend on the type of HID. There are reflector and projector types. With all things equal, the 4100k will be brighter than the 6000k by a little. The color is whiter with the 6000k.

As for Phillips, the ballasts are used in many OEM systems so it is just seen as more reliable.

HI,

The philips 4100 d2s and d2r bulb is OEM in 99% of

all the cars equipped with xenon.

They are pretty much the brightest and whitest.

The 6000K is bluer but less bright.

Nissan lights and lexus lights, every major car manu

facturer uses the philips bulbs but many use different

types of ballasts and projectors which is why they seem

to be different colors.

All ballasts in production that OEM uses are the same power and output . So no matter what ballast is attached to a bulb it will be the same.
