petergx470 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I seem to get some gear slip at different times/speeds. GX 2006 anyone else? Any idea what the problem.
cruznroadking Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Keep in mind that these car are drive by wire. Could it be a hesitation due to the how the computor is controlling the transmission & not slippage??
flukechance Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I may be getting the slippage as well. Just took it off-road over the holidays, and it starting shifting pretty hard then. Going to keep a close eye on it, and check all my liquid levels as well. Truck was great off-road, by the way. Only complaint I had was that it wont let you get sideways. As soon as I started slipping, it straightened me out. I found a quick work-around was to hit the E-Brake. It does great 180's!!!
lexus411 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 probably not the transmission, more like likely the computer like cruz said. Will occur at low speeds. Takes getting used to.
mmann32 Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I have an 06 GX470 and have noticed transmission slippage as well when climbing steep, mountainous terrain / hills. It occurs when i decelerate during such situations. Anyone else have this same problem? is it really computer related? I checked TX fluid level and it was fine.
