ok i want an sc300 im ready to buy but i want to mod it is it better to swap a supra tt in or just turbo the na 2jz? also will tranny hold power ?and should i do a tt brake upgrade or just upgrade all stock ?

depends on what kind of power you want to make, how much you want to spend, and i dunno about the auto tranny but the manual trans is said to hold up to about 450hp.

if you go na-t which is the cheapest way for about 350-400hp which seems to be the general kits on the market which go for about 5 grand. then if you do a swap it will run you 5-7 grand depending on what you do and where you do it, will get you 300-320hp? depending on which motor you get (USDM or JDM) but there is bling factor involved in the swap. plus if you want to make serious power, its easier to make it. dont get me wrong though, the na motor if done up can make alot of power. a few? members on this board make in the upper 500 range.

as for your brakes LS400 caliper upgrade is also available. supra is better though.

so it all boils down to how much power you want to make and at the same time how much money you want to spend.

What engine is in the 300? If you want hp buy the 2JZ TT(could proably find a junked out TT supra with a decent engine to swap in), engine can support alot of mods...although I don't know how well the rest of the car will take it.

the 300 has a 2jz-ge its the same engine as a non-turbo supra.

both engines are almost equaly capable. though the -gte has more potential.

yup just need both wiring diagrams.

i think im going to go with the swap im only looking for something around 500 hp and i know how easy it is to get it out of a tt also know a donor car so i can get suspension and brakes what about the rearend ? im sure it fits

intake, exhaust, bigger turbo or turbos depending on how you want your power delivery, fuel system to support 500hp and a piggy back ecu or standalone
