rfcbuf Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 My 1998 GS 400 (62,000 mi.)has a small brake fluid leak noticed on garage floor when car is parked for extended periods. Leak seems to be flowing down verticle exhaust shield and originating rearward of the fire wall. I have had an under car vehicle inspection with no luck in finding the source of the problem. I am not sure but the problem may have started after brake fluid was changed at the 60,000 mile inspection. The underside of all reachable brake lines and the fluid reservoir are dry. Could use some expert advise.
lenore Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 could be the master leaking between the cylinder and the vacuum booster assembly.
