lexin n flexin
hi, i was wondering if any of you have upgraded to din style decks(smaller, rectangle after market style). i am going to purchese a ls400 and have herd it is hard to find mounting kits for them? is this true? do the 93-96 ls400's have tweeters in the sail panals(in the corner of the window by the outside mirror) and does anyone know the speaker size in the doors? im assuming by how quite this car is it should be a top choice for a great system. thanks for any help you all can give. VMF
i dont know about 90-94 LS but 95-97 with nakamichi have tweeters in the doors as to the first gen i'm not really sure, most of them had pioneer units and i dont know much about em mounting kits are hard to find, ive seen people in local shops creating custom kits. ToddLS400
Yeah, I'm looking for the gen 1 ('90 - '94) dash kit as well... I would really like a dash kit with a pocket below the aftermarket stereo to store things. I have a Kenwood flip around face deck that I want to install. I'll be putting in a quality amp with an enclosed box in the trunk ported up into the rear deck area where the stock woofer is. I wonder if the stock tweeters are good enough to keep in there? I know the mid range speakers suck.
