EastWind Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 I got an LS400 but I don't have an owner's manual, I need to acquire one. Before I do, is it available anywhere in digital (ie, pdf) format? To the main question. What does the orange warning lamp under the speedometer, just under 160 mean? It is orange looks like the oil warning sign, except that it has a zigzag pattern under it. Mine has been coming on lately, it comes on when I am speeding and doing around 80-90, when I drop off to around 70, it goes away. It has never stayed. I live in Michigan, it just got very cold out here. My best guess is that it is coolant warning, is it? please help, and confirm. thanks.
flanker271 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 This symbol indicates "low engine oil". For low coolant it is a radiator looking symbol located just below and slightly to the right of the Tachometer "0".
ko90ls Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 you can get a free owners manual off of lexus.com just sign up for the owners benefits and there's a link to download the OM if you have a newer car or for a old one like mine they'll just send you a copy
nc211 Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Eastwind, you should alter your car info on your signature to include what year your LS400 is. That will help you here a lot, as there are a few different models and funky little quirks to each year.
