e_piph_a_ny
When washing my es, I discovered a hood ding with minute amounts of rust around the edge. The ding is very small. In fact, smaller than the head of a pin. What is the best course of action? I would prefer to not repaint the hood. Thanks
SKperformance
Get oem touch up paint from the dealer then use a sanding pen which is just what it sounds like as it allows you to do spot sanding by rubbing the tip of the pen.It is at most parts stores ,i bought one from NAPA. Then use the touch up paint on the spot, finish by waxing the hood.
LexKid630
I have a million little rock chips in the paint on my rx330 that are showing signs of rust already... I am obviously going to repair these asap, just wondering what "would" happen down the road if these weren't repaired? Would they just get larger and rust out my whole hood? SKperformance
yes the rust would get larger . Rust is cancer pretty much It will take over and no matter what you do the tissue (metal) is necrotic and has to be completly removed.
