Hybrid Humming Sound?

I am going to take my rx400h to service dealer to check out the noise this sat. 11/12/05 but I want to ask all of you first.

The humming; buzzing or vibration noise came from engine area but I don't know where(transmission; electric motor; engine mount..). It happen when I accelerate slowly on long on ramp until the watt meter up close to 100. If I hit the gas pedal harder, or slow it down a bit, the noise gone. Sound like it happen when the car need more power at that point but I don't give it enought power.

Is that electric motor noise? Any of you hear that in yours?

My car had 7800 miles now. When it new I don't pay attention to this noise because I was tried to get the best mileage.

Any input will be appreciated.

Sounds like something is loose. Make them fix it and not dust it off.

Good Luck .. Mine does not do it very quiet at ~ 10,000 miles av. 26 mpg I'm very happy with it Love the transmission and pick up most of all. :D
