bccdbc Posted October 29, 2005 Share Posted October 29, 2005 Has anyone had an experience with Super Seal from Quest. My AC has a leak(s), recharge lasts about 3K miles or 3 months. Car is 92 SC400. dealer want $200.00 to diagnose problem, and replacing compressor, and other parts probably looking at $2k+. Is SS worth a shot?? jbarhorst2 Posted October 30, 2005 Share Posted October 30, 2005 Check the engine under cover. Is there a "pool" of oily substance on it? If so, your AC lines could be leaking. That's what happened to mine recently. That is cheaper than replacing compressor. Get this fixed or else all your oil will leak out after several "recharges" and you will burn up your compressor.
