kgh31386 Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 I have a 93 GS300 with 167,000 miles on it. And I've seen 01 IS300's with around 100,000 miles on them, they cost about $13-14,000. Would you guys think that a car with those miles would be a good investment?

That engine has been around for awhile in Supra and other cars and ought to be quite long lived. Just try to find one that hasn't been abused. I've only got 38,000 miles on mine, and never a sign of trouble at all.
05IS300 Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Got 650 miles on mine still running strong too.I also have an LS400 with 260k plus and a Toyota Sienna LE with 120k so I would not hesitate to buy one with 100k as long as it has service records with it.
