mykstax Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I just bought the car and would like to add a CD changer. Will the stock pioneer stereo support a CD changer? and do I have to use the OEM changer, or can I get any kind? Thanks, Mike Lucia 1991 LS400 137,000 MI mike@Mlucia.com
akewlguy Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I dont know why not, but call Best Buy or local stero installer and ask them. They should know. For the most part the deck accepts an input from the CD player so I suspsect it should be a simple change.

If it does then all you need is the wiring harness and the cd changer OEM. If no cd button you have to switch the headunit to one that has a cd button, That is if you want to stay stock OEM.
Salacak Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I don't have CD button and I will like to add CD changer too. So we have to get CD changer and change the Pioneer unit with CD button one.Any idea how much this will cost. Thanks
