D.i.y. Body Kit Installation

Hey guys,

I am thinking of installing a body kit on my 99 gs 300 and im wondering if the installation is difficult. Im not worried about the paint job since the shop im getting it from sends the pieces prepainted...but any help as to the installation would be very helpful. Thanks in advance

i guess there are many questions

first which kit

what is it made of fibreglass or ureathane

is it an original meaning a price of 2500 or a copy knock off around 800

a knock off never fits right without a body shops coaxing

an original one can be put on very easily with bolts washers and all holes in the right spots

haha...good luck with that back bumper...whew that was a b*tch putting back on...dayam brackets...front wasnt that easy...all those dayam bolts..haha sides are very easy that my opinion

The kit im thinking about installing is the exlosion body kit that you can check out here

explosion body kit As far as cost goes...ive seen the kit priced anywhere from $785 - 1,200...so im not sure if thats any more of an indicator.

Here's some advice bud... Spend the few hundred dollars and have a bodyshop do the install for you.. Trust me, you don't want to go through the aggravation of having your car half taken apart and you can't get it back together.. It sounds nice to say that you installed your bodykit but when it comes time and your in the middle of it, you'll see.. Plus almost always you have to some kind of modification to the kit so it'll fit perfectly..

Oh, one more thing... The real Explosion Kit costs way more than $1,200...
