94LexusES
After about 3 minutes of driving smoke comes from the top center facing the windshield. Im engine retarded so im not sure where its coming from. It smells like a burning smell. The fact that its barely driven (about once a week) may have something to do with it. I think it only happens when i turn on my air. Not sure. Any thoughts? Your help is appreciated.
Toysrme
Probably oil out of the rear of the engine. Valve cover gasket - rear main seal. It makes it's way to the Y pipe where it burns.
94LexusES
So i should replace it?
Toysrme
Well it depends on what the problem is silly LoL! You're suppose to find out... If its the rear valve cover gasket, tighten the bolts along the back side a turn, no more than two. If that fixes it, great, if not, it'll probably be a little bit better until you replace it. SKperformance
If you can't find it with the car in front of you ,it is impossible for anyone else to find it over the internet. If it somkes at start up then open the hood at startup and look for a leak in that area.
