SnesleyWipes Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I changed my plugs yesterday and had to remove this piece of metal to get to the back plugs on the driver's side. I do not remember how it was oriented. I really don't even know what purpose it serves. Could somebody please inform me on what orientation this bolts on and if it even serves a purpose. Thx, Snes
Toysrme Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Don't worry about it. Throw it away it's an annoying piece of metal that makes it harder to take the upper intake air chamber off.
xxxavier2k Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I pretty much agree w/ toysrme but it can be useful if you're intending to remove your engine some time soon.
Toysrme Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Funny story. When I rebuilt my motor mounts I swear to god I jacked the motor & transmisison up just jacking against the powersteering bracket!? Ya, that's two 14mm bolts on the rear head picking up about 600-700lbs!? LoL!
