SC300Drifter Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I believe the bushings holding my rear-subframe (houses my differential) are gone. When I shift to 2 and even sometimes 3rd I hear a loud clunk come from the rear of my car, when the clutch pedal is released. It is getting to the point that when I Grab 2nd my in-dash brake light comes on which leads me to believe that my E-brake cable is being stretched just enough to send a signal. When the car is sitting on level ground and I violently shake the car from sided to side in the back I can feel slight play ( remember I said violently) and no it is not the wheel bearings. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what was the cost to replace these or did you do it yourself?
SC300Drifter Posted September 9, 2005 Author Posted September 9, 2005 I forgot to mention this car has been drifted on a regular basis, so I believe this is what is causing my problems. Thanks Derek
